While still most of the records that were on sale are unsold, I’ve put the sale to a halt until mid-July. Because I’m moving out of this flat in a few days and I really, really need to pack all these records. And, as I’ve already experienced today, it’s pretty frustrating having to empty one box of CDs to find one missing CD that is waiting for a new owner. Thanks to all of you who have helped so far. (Of course, people that have already ‘ordered’ stuff will still get it.)
The lyrics above are from a song by Zea, on a 7″ that won’t be buried (but the song can be downloaded from their site). Thanks to The Phoenix who transcribed part of the lyrics for me.
Because I had never linked to a blog in French, because cherries are delicious, because the music is too and because the bloke helped me with the clearance of the record collection: Pop ‘n Cherries.
Off to a goodbye-party in Athens for a few days. And I’m not posting this to show off really, but to let you know why I might to reply to emails straight away…
In other news, my sister gave birth to a healthy and big (and I mean really big: nearly ten pounds!) son, named Tijs! I am a really proud uncle.
Why Think Small is not a mailorder
The big sell-out is going quite well. When it comes to gaining money and getting rid of CDs, that is. I am having a much harder time putting the right CDs in the right packages and now some people didn’t get everything they ordered (and paid for), while others got an extra CD by accident. (I have made a very useful spreadsheet to keep track of who should get what, but apparently it only works in theory…)
I’m sorting things out now to make sure everyone will be happy in the end. However, I am still looking for Benjamin B’s Tired Of The Moon CD, which I probably sent to one of you by accident. If you got it, could you please contact me? Thank you. (In several packages, I’ve put some old promos I got for free myself; don’t worry if you got one or more of those, they are really meant to be yours.)
Also, there are still hundreds of records left, and I’ll try to keep the lists updated (they’re here, in case you have forgotten). However, for geography- and time-related reasons, I will not be able to send out many packages for most of June and part of July. So, while you can still place orders, don’t expect records (or even an answer) soon. Unless you’re really fast, of course.
And, in general, if you have recieved the records you’ve ordered and you find something is wrong with one of them, don’t hesitate to contact me.

The lists are updated again. The record shop didn’t take that much after all, which is okay though as people still come and ask for stuff. Also, I kind of like the idea of selling things through eBay. Something to do during the Summer!
Relocate (4)
The lists are updated again. There is still some 85 percent left (and a few new ones are put online) and while I do not want to force you into buying something, I’d like to warn you that I’ll take a whole lot to the record shop tomorrow. Who will a) pay me less than you will b) ask you more than I do if you’ll buy it from them later on c) got kind of scared of the idea of so many cd’s to buy from me…
So, basically, you’ll make all of us happy if you buy from me directly.
(If anyone has a better idea to send records, other than cutting old cardboard boxes and folding them around them, I’d be happy to hear it.)
