Upon coming back after a week with almost no internet, seeing a full inbox, hundreds of unread blog posts shouting for my attention and dozens of unread forum topics asking me to join in, it is tempting to just give it all up. To just spend my free time reading poetry and to listen to whatever comes my way; I listened to some French chansons and a couple of jazz singers via the in-plane audio and I thoroughly enjoyed it. But then I read that Matinée is releasing new albums by The Lucksmiths and Would-Be-Goods (not quite coincidentally my most two played bands on last.fm) and I know that I can’t and that I won’t. And that it is good like this.

(Three new Lucksmiths songs that I can’t stop listening to on theirspace.)
