It is probably the credit crunch to blame, but my record sale has gone rather quiet. And because I prefer money —even if it is a tiny bit— above boxes full of records that only remind me of a sad past of buying way too many of the damn things, I have teamed up with Amazon. Think Small thinks big when it needs to. Last week, I added sixty-something CDs to my newly created Amazon Seller Account, all of which will appear in the search results of people searching for the relevant records. Which, my friend R. had warned me, many will do; hence I had planned it carefully, knowing that I would be home all week and expecting to spend my lunch breaks in the queue at the local Post Office.
Unfortunately, the credit crunch seems to have hit the people browsing Amazon for bargain deals rather badly: in six days, I have sold one single cd.
