Yes – 23 February in London and 24 February in Sheffield. Both are Atomic Beat all-stars line-ups, with me, Pocketbooks and the Parallelograms.

We will be putting them on with the Manhattan Love Suicides (plus others) towards the end of February. I think Marianthi’s mob have got them a week before.

I really can’t get enough of the Pobpahs at the moment. I love the fuzzy languid pop sound over the tight beat and I love the way certain lyrics jump out of it and grab you. They’re not just putting together fantastically good tunes (the sort which make me think “damn, why didn’t I write that?”): they’re writing words that matter and remind us all what matters. Mmmm yeah. A bit like Comet Gain when they got it right. My heart and my feet are moving together.
